2025 Toyota SUV Sizes

Toyota Canada currently has ten SUV models available for the Canadian market, and that’s not counting the endless configurations and hybrid options. 

 

Whether you’re looking for a smaller, more compact SUV or the biggest and boldest… you’re in the right place.

 

Firstly, we’ll compare the 2025 Toyota compact SUVs and crossovers. 

 

Toyota SUV Sizes: Compact SUVs

As of February 2025, the current compact SUVs and crossovers available in Canada are:

  • RAV4 & RAV4 Hybrid
  • RAV4 Prime Plug-In Hybrid
  • Corolla Cross & Corolla Cross Hybrid
  • Crown Signia
  • bz4X

 

Compact SUV Results

The 2025 Toyota Crown Signia is the largest of the compact SUVs with an exterior length of 4930mm (194.1 inches) and the Toyota Corolla Cross is the smallest with a length of 4474mm. However, despite the size difference, there isn’t much of a contrast in cargo capacity! The Crown Signia can hold 702L with the Corolla Cross holding up to 680L. Although the Corolla Cross L AWD, LE AWD and XLE AWD configurations can only hold a maximum of 609.

The leader of the pack for cargo capacity is the 2025 Toyota RAV4! No surprise there, as the RAV4 is the best-selling Toyota SUV of all time. It can hold a maximum of 1977L with the rear seats folded down, and still manages an amazing 1059L with the seats up. If you’re looking for a compact SUV with massive cargo capacity, the RAV4 is in first place. The plug-in hybrid RAV4 is not far behind with 949L of cargo capacity. Plenty of room for sports equipment, groceries, and more!

Crown Signia - $61,098

bZ4X - $46,515 to $51,845*

RAV4 - $37,194 to $51,164

RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid - $55,540 to $60,380

Corolla Cross - $31,288 to $40,998

Toyota SUV Sizes: Midsize and Full-size SUVs

As of February 2025, the current midsize and full-size SUVs available in Canada are:

  • Highlander & Highlander Hybrid
  • Grand Highlander & Grand Highlander Hybrid
  • 4Runner
  • Land Cruiser
  • Sequioa

 

Midsize and Full-Size SUV Results

The luxurious full-size Toyota Sequoia can seat seven or eight passengers and is the largest SUV in the Toyota line-up. However, the Grand Highlander, which is slightly smaller in size and also seats seven to eight passengers, has more total cargo space available. The Grand Highlander can hold 2761L of cargo capacity with all seats down compared to the Sequoia’s 2461L.

The smallest midsize SUV is the Toyota 4Runner with an exterior length of 4950mm, but it can still seat between five to seven passengers and hold a total cargo volume of 2381L. In comparison, the Toyota Land Cruiser, which is similar in size, doesn’t have configurations that increase seating capacity beyond five passengers. Not to worry though! The Land Cruiser can hold up to 2322L, with plenty of space for whatever you need on your next outdoor adventure.

Sequoia- $87,684 to $105,341

Grand Highlander - $54,494 to $69,419

Highlander- $53,854 to $62,439

Land Cruiser- $72,922 to $80,922

4Runner - $57,818 to $70,400

 

Out the gate, the 2025 Toyota Sequoia has the priciest entry point at $87,684 for base models and $105,341 for the Sequoia Capstone configuration. The 2025 Highlander has the lowest starting price at $53,854 although the Grand Highlander isn’t far behind with $54,494.
