Get Summer Road Trip Ready
It’s essential to keep your vehicle in tip-top shape, especially when you’re about to embark on a road trip. Here are some tips to keep your car running as it should!
Tip 1: Keep Cool With a Vehicle Fluid Top-Up
We know how important it is to stay hydrated and cool in the summer months to avoid overheating… and the same goes for our vehicle. Fluid top-ups and changes are essential to keep your vehicle running smoothly.
Book a service appointment with our team to inspect and refill your vehicle fluids, including engine oil, brake fluid, coolant, or transmission fluids. Per the Toyota Maintenance Schedule, we recommend getting your vehicle fluids checked every 8,000 km or six months.
Tip 2: Follow The Toyota Maintenance Schedule
Regular Toyota Maintenance should be scheduled every six months or 8,000 kilometres, or whichever comes first. Maintaining your car regularly is important as it reduces the number of service-related breakdowns in the future.
This is especially helpful as you don’t want to break down on your adventure.

Tip 3: Stay Safe With A Dash Camera

Tip 4: Wipers & Tires
Do you have your summer/all-season tires on? Are your windshield wipers in good shape? Better yet, when was the last time you had them checked?
Your safety on the road starts with visibility. Check if your windshield wipers are cracked or damaged on the rubber blade. If your wipers look damaged or haven’t been replaced in a few seasons, it’s time for a change!
For tires, ensure you have the correct tires on and double-check the tire tread depth. Having worn-out tire tread can lead to hydroplaning and accidents, and having winter tires on your vehicle in the hot summer can reduce your tire’s lifespan by up to 60%!
